How to use it
Describe your home
Pick your property type and finish level, then enter the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the floor area in square feet.
Choose the work
Tick what you want done: hacking, tiling, flooring, electrical, plumbing, painting and ceilings, wardrobes and other carpentry, doors and windows, air-conditioning, curtains and cleaning. Then choose the level of kitchen work.
See your rough range
Your total and likely range update live, with a breakdown by type of work and the one change that saves the most. It is a rough guide, not a quotation. No sign-up required.
Unlock your full report
Enter your email to see every part of the job in dollars, savings ranked by value and questions to ask your contractor. Print it or save it as a PDF. The renovation firm then reviews your details and sends you a formal quotation.
What the full report looks like

A demo you can have on your own website
This free version uses sample rates so you can see how it works. A renovation firm’s own version uses that firm’s own prices, and the firm sends the formal quotation.
- Your firm’s price list, work items and finishes
- Your logo and brand colours
- Show a rough range at once, or keep prices hidden until you approve each request
- Each request emailed to you first; the estimate goes to the customer only after you confirm
- Placed on your website or linked from your ads

Questions
Do I need to sign up to use it? No — the estimator and its on-screen results are free to use with no account. Your email is only needed if you want the full report.
Is this a quotation? No. It is a rough range based on sample rates. A renovation firm using this tool reviews your details and sends you a formal quotation. Real prices depend on your site, layout, materials and contractor.
Can the firm approve the estimate before I see it? Yes. A firm can choose a version where you see no price on the page. You send your details and the firm gets an email with your request. Once the firm has checked it and confirmed, the estimate is emailed to you automatically. It is still a rough range, and the firm sends the formal quotation separately. You can walk through that version from the tool page.
Why do the numbers look generic? This free version is a demonstration. The rates are samples, not any firm’s actual prices.
Is this professional advice? No — it is a planning aid based on the numbers you enter. See also the free licence and privacy policy.
